Designing Principle: s-curve
Focal point: lake and 2 people on path
Value pattern: image is generally dark, shapes broken up with lines of bright snow.
Largest shape is dark sky
Medium shapes: lake, trees, house
Small shapes: birds, water pits

Первая неделя, задание 1, часть 2

Design principle: c-curves, leading to person face
Focal point: person with cigarette
Value pattern: Mix of bright and dark tones, very little of middle tones. Faces separated by strong background light, dress separated using little shadows and combination of white shirt and dark jacket.
Biggest shape - ceiling of the car
Medium shapes - faces, hair, dress
Small shapes: dress folds, car interrior

Design principle: Lines, converging at man's face.
Focal point: Man face
Value pattern: Dark area with huge bright spot and 2 sihloettes at the edge.
Biggest shape - Background building and road
Medium shapes - People figures, tree, car
Small shapes: Bricks in the wall, clothing folds.

Focal point is the girl. She is standing on the path, which resulting to many lines, converging at her body. To separate her figure, most of the details on the shadows was omitted, except for few highlihgts.

Пятая неделя

I finally caught up with everyone! I wanted to draw lovers, shipper existing characters to be precise. One of them is trying to get in touch with another, while second is a bit embarassed with that.

I tried most obvious composition, and realised that it's not working. Then i drew bunch of arrows and lines, and realised, that composition is not working because it's too much lines, leading outside focal point, + most important part, which is girl hand, touching man legs, isn't align with thirds.

To to align it with thirds, i rotated canvas. To decrease amount of lines and objects, i placed some of them out of frame.

I tried different color schemes and choose warmer one. Shadow is slightly cold, but i think it's fine for indoor lighting.

Assignment of 5th week, again, why not? I don't like how indoors environment limiting me in terms of color variety and temperature, so i decided to create new composition for 6th week assignment.

I tried to explore idea of small shape inside bigger shape. Big dark shape of nature shadow leads directs focus into small butterfly and also girl, who holds it. Translucent hair helps to separate girl from shadow.

By the way, reflection of the ball is much more complex in reality - it flips. In this example and in bucci reference it was drew like a lens, or like a hollow semi-sphere. Keep that in mind if you drawing water droplets or something. Hollow objects, or glass dishes should look more or less like on bucci reference.

I drew one picture with graphic style and 2 more with more realistic one. Last image has that interesting grays, that Marco Bucci love so much, and i appreciate it too.

I tried drawing only parts of the image that i interested in, tried drawing on the same canvas, tried making plain copy, i hope it's good enough for this assignment, since it's definition is very vague.
